 Winner of the NSW Ministry for the Arts Inaugural 2002 Western Sydney Artist Fellowship, Bette Mifsud has won the major $10,000 prize in the Hazelhurst Art Award 2003 for Art on Paper…for her work, “Fugitive Ground”… Roger Butler, Senior Curator of Australian Prints and Drawings at the National Gallery of Australia, judged and awarded the price at the Hazelhurst Regional Gallery on 25 July.
